MASE Master Accredited Systems Engineer

HP MASE Introduction:
The Master Accredited Systems Engineer (MASE) certification from HP was originally established in the year 1999 and was last updated in the year 2005. Before a student can do a MASE certification exam he or she must have a HP Certification: Accredited Systems Engineer (ASE) certification that has not yet expired.

HP MASE Description:
The Master Accredited Systems Engineer (MASE) certification shows a high level of knowledge of HP storage networks and networking. Once a student has successfully acquired the HP MASE certification you are qualified and more than able to design, support and integrate application, middleware, platform, operating system, storage, network and option components necessary to solve business needs in complex, enterprise environments. These are main concerns of the MASE certification and should be heavily emphasized HP Training Guides.

HP MASE Required Exams:
The exams required in order to achieve the HP MASE certification has an option of five groups of exams: a one exam certification, a two exam certification or a three exam certification.

The one exam grouped together is as follows: the HP0-756 HP ProCurve Secure Mobility Solutions exam for the MASE - ProCurve Secure Mobility [2004] certification OR the HP0-850 Integrating Oracle9i with HP Platforms - Windows exam for the MASE - Oracle on Windows certification.

The two exams grouped together are as follows: the HP0-678 Implementing HP Enterprise Virtual Array Solutions and the HP0-402 Implementing HP Enterprise Virtual Array Solutions exam for MASE - HP ProLiant High Availability and Clustering Solutions certification OR the HP0-438 Advanced SAN Architecture and the HP0-245 Supporting the Enterprise Backup Solution (EBS) exam for the MASE - HP SAN Architect - Backup Solutions certification.

The five exams grouped together are as follows: the HP0-841 Designing and Implementing HP SAN Solutions or the HP0-773 Installing & Supporting Standard HP SAN Environments exam, the HP0-427 Implementing & Supporting HP Storage Essentials v5.0 or the HP0-417 Storage Essentials Fundamentals 5.0 exam, the HP0-678 Implementing HP Enterprise Virtual Array Solutions or the HP0-402 Implementing HP Enterprise Virtual Array Solutions exam, the HP0-512 Replication Solutions for the HP StorageWorks EVA or the HP0-728 Replication Solutions for HP StorageWorks EVA exam, and the HP0-438 Advanced SAN Architecture exam for the MASE - HP SAN Architect - Data Availability Solutions [2005] certification.

HP MASE Recertification:
Each MASE certification has an unspecified lifetime but students may be required to complete Continuing Certification Requirements consisting of selected exams, training, or additional maintenance requirements as prescribed by HP.
